FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Waht is the difference between OEM and Genuine Parts?

OEM, Original equipment manufacturer part is a part made by the manufacture or made for them to their specification but an external company.

A genuine part is a part supplied by the vehicle manufacturer in their packaging.

How can I assure that the part I need will fit my vehicle?

Before purchasing, please check the exact parts numbers for your vehicles. If you do not know the exact parts numbers for your vehicles, please send us your vehicle's VIN Number and we will be happy to check this for you.

What happens if I need to return or exchange a part?

You may return a part as long as it’s within 30 days of receiving your order and the part is:

- Unused
- In its original unmarked packaging with the original invoice
- In resalable condition

How do replacement parts affect my vehicle’s warranty?

Installing OEM parts does not affect your vehicle’s warranty.

How can I be sure the part I need will fit my vehicle?

All our products have fitment information on the item page, and Amazon's comprehensive search function allows you to search by your car’s year, make, and model. You’re also free to call us to verify fitment via VIN.

What is a VIN Number?

The vehicle identification number (VIN) is the identifying code for a specific, individual automobile. Each VIN number is unique and serves as the car's "fingerprint", as no two vehicles in operation have the same VIN number. A VIN number is the string of 17 numbers and letters that an automobile manufacturer assigns to an individual vehicle, at the time it is manufactured.

How to find my VIN number?

On most passenger cars, you may find the VIN number on the front of the dashboard on the driver's side. The best way to see it is to look through the windshield from outside the car. You may also find the VIN number on the driver's side door pillar

Why are Genuine parts better for my vehicle? Can’t I just get a cheaper aftermarket part?

Genuine parts may be a little more expensive, but they are made to your vehicle's exact specifications. Genuine parts also typically come with a warranty, whereas aftermarket parts don't. It's simply not worth the risk to purchase aftermarket parts. You may end up paying less up front but the costs down the road could be significant.
